Theresa J. Laurie, daughter of Bruce and Barbara Laurie of Portland, and Stephen D. Lahnen II, son of Steve and Debbie Lahnen of Brocton, were married on Aug. 1, 2009. The garden-style wedding was hosted by the bride's parents at their residence located on Ellicott Road in the town of Portland. The maid of honor was Molly Laurie, a niece of the bride, and the best man was Ryan Halpanie, a nephew of the groom.
The couple enjoyed a weeklong honeymoon camping in the Adirondack Mountains.
