David R. and Diane M. Metzger of East Lake Road, Dunkirk, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner at the Fireside Manor with family. David and the former Diane Ellman were married on April 30, 1960 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Forestville.
Mr. Metzger worked for Greater Buffalo Color Printing in Dunkirk until it closed, and retired from IMAC Printing in Amherst. Mrs. Metzger worked for M. Wile in Dunkirk, New Era in Derby, and retired from SUNY Fredonia.
The couple have three children, Deborah (Christopher) Felt of Frewsburg, Cynthia (Mark) Dietzen and Lisa (Joel) Schrantz of Silver Creek. The also have five grandchildren, and two great-grandsons.
