Jennifer Marx-Mikula and Darryl Mikula

Miss Jennifer M. Marx and Mr. Darryl S. Mikula, of Fredonia were united in marriage at a double-ring ceremony on May 29, 2010 at St. Joseph Church in Fredonia. The bride is the daughter of Carol Marx and the late Gary Marx. The groom is the son of Edna Mikula and the late Henry Mikula.

The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Charles Zadora with music by Lucy Hurley. Readings were given by friends of the couple Jerry McGarrity and Michael Dougherty, and brother of the groom Jerome Mikula. Gifts were offered by Ed and Joanne Kryman, friends of the couple.

The bride was escorted by her brother, Jerad Marx. She wore a V-neck strapped A-line chiffon dress with a rhinestone emblem in the center, with hanging pearls and a carriage cut front layer on the skirt. The dress featured a corset closure and a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of Casa Blanca lilies, Iris, purple roses, alstroemeria and lavender daisies.

The maid of honor was the couple's daughter, Samantha, who wore an eggplant chiffon A-line dress and carried a bouquet similar to the bride's. The couple's son, Kyle, served as best man. Kyleigh Warren served as flower girl and Camden Marx served as ring bearer.

The bride is a graduate of Fredonia High School and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at Fredonia State University. The groom is a graduate of Forestville High School and Fredonia State College with a bachelor of science degree in administration/marketing. He is currently employed at ECR International as a CNC computer programmer.

Guests were in attendance from Florida, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland and South Carolina.

The couple honeymooned in Luray, Va., Washington, D.C., and Ocean City, Md.
