Mr. and Mrs. Matthias and Emma Williams

Emma Weigle and Matthias Williams exchanged wedding vows on May 22, 2010 at the Fredonia First United Methodist Church in Fredonia. The ceremony was performed by the father of the groom, Pastor Lee Williams. Music was provided by Barbara Faxlanger, organist, and Rachel Lees, vocalist. A reading was performed by Rachael Pelletter, childhood friend of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Tim and Penny Weigle of Fredonia. The groom is the son of Pastor Lee and Penny Williams of Skaneateles.

Melissa Weigle, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Narraway and Christina Dyckes of Fredonia, and Jackie Shaw of Batavia.

Best man was Marc Williams, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Michael Williams, brother of the groom, and Jack Weigle, brother of the bride.

The bride's dress was satin and tulle, with pearl and crystal beading and a strapless, sweetheart neckline. Her veil was made by her mother with hand-sewn crystal and pearl beading. She also wore a pearl necklace, as a bracelet, that was worn by her maternal grandmother on her wedding day. She carried a bouquet of yellow gerbera and white daisies, with purple and lavender lisianthus accents. The bridesmaids wore tea-length yellow dresses with lavender trim. They carried bouquets of yellow and white daisies and lavender lisianthus.

The bride and groom are both 2009 graduates of Houghton College. They are both pursuing graduate degrees in Rochester. The bride is attending Roberts Wesleyan College for a master's in special education and the groom will be attending University of Rochester's pre-med program this fall. The groom is also a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves.

The couple plan to honeymoon in New Orleans at a later date.
