Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Hartman

Amy Marie Travis of Brocton and Gregory Thomas Hartman of Hamburg were united in marriage on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Church, Hamburg. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Father Robert G. Beiter, priest and friend of the bride's family.

The bride is the daughter of David and Marcia Travis of Brocton. The groom is the son of Thomas and Hope Hartman of Kenmore.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore an ivory lace trumpet-style dress with crystal accents and sheer cap sleeves. She carried a bouquet of purple orchids, hot pink and orange roses, and white hydrangea, wrapped in her grandmother's lace handkerchief.

Wedding pianist was Lisa McFall of Manlius, N.Y. Vocalists were Lydia Herren of Springville and Molly Caya of Winter Haven, Fla., friends of the bride.

Matron of honor was Jennifer (Pisoni) Wyatt of San Marcos, Calif., friend of the bride. Bridesmaids included Ada Macfarlane of Buffalo, friend of the bride; Alexis (Eckstrom) Stewart of Nashville, Tenn., cousin of the bride; and Devin Eckert of Buffalo, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids wore aqua blue tea-length chiffon sundresses and carried smaller versions of the bride's bouquet. Grace Sunday of Brocton, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl.

Nicholas Wolfanger of Buffalo, friend of the groom, served as best man. Ushers included August Hartman of Amherst, cousin of the groom; Ashish Shah of Ithaca, friend of the groom; and Nicholas McLaughlin of Birmingham, Ala., friend of the groom.

A reception was held at Kloc's Grove in the Garden Pavilion, West Seneca.

The bride graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a BA in music education and the University at Buffalo with a master of education. She is a vocal music teacher at Hamburg Middle School.

The groom graduated from University at Buffalo with a BS in aerospace engineering. He is currently attending University at Buffalo for a master of science in mechanical engineering. He is an engineer at Cameron Compression Systems in Cheektowaga.

The couple resides in Hamburg.
