GOWANDA - Tricia Jimerson and Taylor Johnson each had seven kills to help the Gowanda Lady Panthers (10-5, 8-2) down Fredonia (6-7, 6-5), 25-19, 25-18, 25-21 Friday in CCAA Division 1 girls' high school volleyball.
Taylor Edington had five kills and two blocks while Hunter White contributed in the win with 20 assists and three aces.
The Lady Hillbillies were led by Amy Seybold's five kills and eight digs. Aricca Lis finished with six kills and teammate Alice Moore charted 10 assists in defeat. Vicky Vanach had eight blocks for Fredonia.
Gowanda also won the jayvee match.

The Dunkirk Lady Marauders (0-17, 0-10) played a tight match against the Olean Lady Huskies (6-8, 4-6) in Division 1 girls' high school volleyball Friday, but were only able to win one game and fell to Olean 25-22, 25-17, 18-25, 25-20.
"We are definitely a better team," Dunkirk coach Bill Osinksi said. "We just didn't execute the way we should have."
Playing strong for the Lady Marauders, Khee Nance had nine kills and four blocks while Alisha White had eight kills and five blocks.
"Nance played especially well in the front row," Osinksi said.
For the Lady Huskies, Melanie Yanetsko had four aces, Whittney Wright had four fills and Krista Branch had 13 points and 15 assists.
Olean won the jayvee match 2-1.
Dunkirk travels to Gowanda on Monday.

BROCTON - Kelsey Kyser had seven hits, six kills, a dig and a block and nine aces to pace the Westfield Lady Wolverines to a 25-23, 25-8, 25-9 sweep of Brocton (0-10) on Friday in CCAA Division 3 girls' high school volleyball.
Shauna McGuay added two hits, three kills and a block. Sandra Manzella three hits, two kills and three aces.
Maggie Johnson had nine assists and two aces in the win.
The Lady Bulldogs were led by Heather Barrett's 10 points, five assists, three hits, one kill and a block. Abigail DeLand had five points, 17 assists and Elizabeth Bromsted finished with nine points, eight assists and a hit while Emily Crandall had eight assists in defeat.

NORTH COLLINS - The North Collins Lady Eagles (15-1, 9-1) had to fight a little harder for the win Friday, but they still managed to swept the Ellicottville Lady Eagles (8-7, 8-3) in girls' high school non-league volleyball, 25-23, 25-22, 25-19.
"It was a good match for us, a good challenge for us" North Collins coach Dave Burgstahler said. "We had to fight to win."
Leading the charge for North Collins was Amber Letina with 21 assists, three aces and three blocks while teammates Hannah Renaldo had eight kills, Casey Hausner had seven kills and five aces and Samantha Torrey chipped in five kills and three aces.
"She was part of the right side that passed and hit well for us tonight," Burgstahler said of Torrey.
For Ellicottville, Janae Hamilton had eight kills and 13 digs and Maddie Szpaicher had seven kills and 12 assists.
The North Collins jayvee team also won its match.
North Collins plays next at Cataraugus Little Valley on Monday.

SILVER CREEK - Kelsie Beaver's 19 assists and six aces led the Randolph Lady Cardinals (13-0, 10-0) past Silver Creek (5-8, 3-7), 26-24 25-10 25-16, Friday in CCAA Division 2 girls' high school volleyball.
Marah Maycock added 17 kills and four aces and McKenna Maycock had four aces, 16 assists and four kills in the win.
The Black Knights were led by Brandi Olson's seven assists, seven digs and four aces. Allie Harford had two kills, two blocks and five digs.
