Despite rain, hundreds of area children and adults attended a Halloween trick or treating party at the Dunkirk Conference Center off Route 5 in the town of Sheridan. Ghosts and goblins collected candy from more than 25 cabins decorated to show Halloween spirit. Children followed a spooky path along the lake shore and held their parents' hands tightly in the haunted house. Admission to this event was free.
This event ran from 4 - 7 p.m. today. Admission was free.
