Norbert and Lucreacia Czarnecki celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 29, 2010.
Longtime residents of Silver Creek, Norb and Lu are still very active in the community as well as local government. Lucreacia owned and operated Foliage House Florist, and Norb worked for National Fuel before they both retired a few years ago. They now split their time between their home in Alfred Heights and their seasonal home in Clermont, Fla.
The couple's son Mark and daughter-in-law Kimberly hosted an anniversary party for them in Orlando, Fla. Norbert and Lucreacia have four children: Albert, Kevin, Debora and Mark, as well as six grandchildren.
