Silver Creek Seniors
SILVER CREEK - Silver Creek Senior group met Tuesday, on Route 5 with 22 members present. President Ed Newman opened our meeting with all saying the pledge to the flag and singing "God Bless America." Chaplain Irene Conny presented a prayer, "Lots of Changes in My Life."
Minutes were read by the secretary and passed as read by the secretary and passed as read by Jo Anne Martin and Conny. Weekly drawings won by Rose Falcone and Milt Griewisch.
The 50/50 was won by Marv Smith, Martin and Falcone.
The Nov. 16 food committee includes Conny and Dorothy Miniri. On Nov. 23, a catered Thanksgiving dinner will be held at the senior center.
The Nov. 30 food committee is Falcone and Conrad Pawlak. Bingo was called by Joan Suski. Jokes were given by John Krestic. After the meeting, angel food cake with chocolate pudding was enjoyed by the members.
