Brittany Scarpine and Derek A. Edwards of Westfield were united in marriage on Sept. 4, 2010 at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church and Society in Westfield. Dr. Arthur Webster, minister and friend of the families, officiated the double-ring, traditional ceremony. Organist was Lois Lindell, great aunt of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of James and Diane Scarpine of Westfield. The groom is the son of Eric and Marie Edwards of Westfield.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a black and white halter-style satin gown, with beading and lace accents on the bodice and train. Her honor attendant was her lifelong friend Amanda Myers of Westfield. Bridesmaids included Jamie Scarpine of Westfield, sister of bride; Jill Scarpine of Westfield, sister of bride; Rachael Edwards of Orchard Park, sister of groom; Grace Medley of Dunkirk, friend; Lauren Almeter of Buffalo, friend; and the bride extends special thanks to her lady in waiting and friend, Erika Voltman of Westfield. The bridesmaids wore knee-length sangria-colored gowns. Flower girl was Madison Schroeder of Westfield, niece of the bride.

Ushers included Rob Blakely of Westfield, friend; Phil Gorman of Westfield, friend; Daryn Coon of Orchard Park, friend; Greg Jackson of Fredonia, cousin of the groom; Aaron Torres of Westfield, cousin of the groom; Aaron Nichols of Rochester, friend; and Matt Montinarelli of Rochester, friend. Ring bearer was Jonathan Corbett of Mayville, nephew of the bride.
The reception was held at the Clarion Hotel in Dunkirk
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Canisius College and is currently employed in Rochester at PricewaterhouseCopper. The groom is a 2010 graduate of The University of Buffalo.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwards reside in Rochester.
