Members of the American Legion Post 62 in Dunkirk this morning marked the 69th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
John Miga, vice commander of the post, led the ceremonies that were attended by seventh and eighth-grade students of the Northern Chautauqua Catholic School.
"It is a history lesson worthy of retelling over generations," Miga told those in attendance of the attack. "It is a lesson that we forgot. Because we forgot we allowed history to repeat itself.
