Jennifer Theresa and Jason James Woloszyn

Jason James Woloszyn and Jennifer Theresa Tan exchanged wedding vows Sept. 25, 2010, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, in Charlotte, N.C., with Father Mark Lawlor officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Denise Tan, of Rome, N.Y. The groom is the son of James Woloszyn of Dunkirk and Joan Anson of Annandale, Va.

A full Catholic Mass was celebrated, with readings done by Jean Anson, maternal aunt of the groom, Lavonne Patti and Kevin Carolla, both friends of the bride and groom.

The bride wore an ivory strapless, fit and flare gown from Maggie Sottero, with a scoop neckline and corset closure, accented with an asymmetrical spray of Swarovski crystals and beaded embellishments.

Serving as maid of honor was the bride's sister, Jessica Tan of Melbourne, Fla. Bridesmaids included sisters of the bride Allison Tan of Boston, Mass., and Kati Tan of Rome; and Rabia Tallim of Baltimore, Md., Shannon Franklin of Yonkers and Alyssa Lannutti of Charlotte, all friends of the bride. The bridesmaids wore long satin, black, strapless dresses from Bill Levkoff with silver sandals.

Best man was friend of the groom Spencer Heuer of Charlotte. Groomsmen included Tim Weaver of Charlotte, Matthew Cole of Wilmington, N.C., Justin Cole of Bedford, Mass., Matthew Orlando of Charlotte, Scott Ellman of Baldwinsville, N.Y., and Jeffrey Hatfield of Herndon, Va., all friends of the groom.

A formal reception was held in the Grand Ballroom of the Marriot City Center, in Charlotte, N.C. The reception was highlighted by a cocktail hour, dinner, a night full of dancing and an impromptu performance of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" by groomsman Tim Weaver.

The bride attended and graduated from Rome Catholic High School as well as St. Bonaventure University while the groom attended and graduated from St. Francis High School and St. Bonaventure University.

The bride is currently employed as a senior analyst of EMR Systems with Maersk Equipment. The groom is currently employed as a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors.

The couple has planned a February 2011 honeymoon to the Dominican Republic.
