Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hoeh of East Aurora announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily, to Daniel P. Boyd, the son of Mr. David Boyd and the late Mrs. Cynthia Lutz Boyd of Mayville.
Hoeh is a 2001 graduate of East Aurora High School. She graduated in 2006 from Daemen College, where she earned a bachelor's in childhood education and a master's degree in special education. She is currently employed as an elementary special education teacher at the Springville Elementary School.
Boyd is currently finishing 10 years of service in the United States Air Force as a Civil Engineer, and has been deployed on four tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. He will be attending a university after moving to to Western New York to complete his master's in psychology.
