Todd and Patty Matteson of Portland are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Jody to Seth Merle, son of Ken and Sue Merle of Brocton.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Rod and Judy Mawhir of Brocton. She is a 2005 graduate of Brocton Central School and a 2010 graduate of SUNY Fredonia. She is employed by Kids Under Construction Daycare.
The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Brocton Central School and a 2007 graduate of St. Bonaventure University. He is employed by Erie-2 BOCES as a microcomputer technical assistant.
