Miriam Figueroa Walker and Donald Douglass Wilson announce their engagement. Walker is the daughter of the late Carmelo and Angela Figueroa. Wilson is the son of the late John and Doris Wilson.
The bride-to-be graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a bachelor's degree in community and human services. She is a substitute teacher.
The prospective groom graduated from Dunkirk Industrial High School and served for four years in the U.S. Army. He now enjoys retirement.
