Kellie Lynn Smith and Robert John Richter announce their engagement. Smith is the daughter of Kim and Rick DuBois of Fredonia and Kimberly "Smitty" Smith of Dunkirk. She is the granddaughter of Carl and Beverly Smith of Dunkirk and Theodore and the late Rosemary Sechrist of Canton, Ohio. Richter is the son of Arlinda and Thomas Crowell of Dunkirk and Andrew Richter of Leon. He is the grandson of Raymond and Betty Lou Richter of Leon, Linda (Rose) Lewis and the late Daniel Lewis of South Dayton.
The bride-to-be is employed at Walmart as a receiving associate. She is a 2004 graduate of Fredonia High School.
The prospective groom is employed at ECR International as a machine operator and Valentine's Place as a bouncer. He is a 2007 graduate of Dunkirk High School.
