Ed and Maureen Stegle of Dunkirk announce the engagement of their daughter Kathleen (Katie) Leigh to Brandon Wright, son of Jim and Gina Wright of Medford, N.Y.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Northern Chautauqua Catholic School, a 2005 graduate of Mount Mercy Academy and a 2009 graduate of Niagara University with a bachelor of science degree in hospitality and tourism. She is employed by the Grand Hyatt in Tampa, Fla.
The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Patchogue-Medford High School, and a 2008 graduate of Niagara University with a bachelor of arts in history. In 2010 he completed his master's in education becoming certified to teach social studies, grades 5-12. He is employed by Springstead High School in Spring Hill, Fla., teaching U.S. and world history. He is also the coach of the cross country and track teams.
