A Dunkirk man is facing charges in the death of a 20-year-old Silver Creek resident.
During a press conference at Dunkirk City Hall this morning, Dunkirk Police Chief David Ortolano and county District Attorney David Foley announced the arrest of David Corsi, 22, of 307 Eagle St. He is being charged with second-degree murder, a Class A felony.
He was to be arraigned this afternoon.

The victim's identity has also been released. Ricardo Vazquez, 20, of Silver Creek died early Thursday morning from two gunshot wounds suffered on Wednesday night.
"I want to personally commend the work of the men and women of the Dunkirk Police Department detective and patrol divisions for their hard work and dedication on this case," Ortolano said. "I also want to comment and thank (District Attorney) David Foley, (Assistant District Attorney) Grace Hanlon, county SWAT team and the (Forensic Investigation Team) members who responded to assist.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the Vazquez family at this very tragic time for them."
