Elisa Vasquez and Frank Burriesci, both of East Hampton, N.Y., announce their engagement. Vasquez is the daughter of Diana Ahrens/Melker and Julio Vasquez of East Hampton. She is the granddaughter of Doreen Melker of Derby, and the niece of Bobbie and Dean Norris of Dunkirk and Kathy and Michael Krtanjak of Silver Creek. Burriesci is the son of Sara and Luciano Burriesci of East Hampton.
The bride-to-be graduated from Hofstra University in 2009 with a master of science in education. She is an ESL teacher.
The prospective groom was a police officer from 1994-98 in Southampton Town and is now the co-owner of Luigi's Italian Specialties, a family business.
