Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Rebic of Fredonia recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Rebic and the former Beatrice Smith were married April 12, 1946 at Most Precious Blood Church in Angola.
Mr. Rebic is a Navy veteran and a retiree from Niagara Mohawk. She was a former Angola Elementary and High School principal's secretary.

They have one son, Donald, who is a pianist residing in New York City. He has accompanied many top vocalists, including Leslie Ugams, Margaret Whiting, Dixie Carter and Karen Akers, to name a few.
