WESTFIELD - Thousands of residents from Chautauqua County and this village turned out to honor a fallen soldier this afternoon.
The body of Sgt. Kevin White returned home today. White died May 2 while serving his country in the line of duty in Afghanistan.
Besides residents attending the solemn homecoming, a number of county veterans groups were in attendance.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9 PM at The First Baptist Church of Westfield, 9 Kent St. The funeral service will be Friday morning at 11:00AM at The First Baptist Church of Westfield, with Rev. Thayne Bodenmiller officiating.
Burial with full Military Honors will be private in Westfield Cemetery.
