Megan A. Zaffalon and Keith J. Mackowiak announce their engagement. Zaffalon is the daughter of Gary and Denise Zaffalon of Dunkirk. Mackowiak is the son of Dave and Judy Mackowiak, also of Dunkirk.
The bride-elect, a 2000 alumna of Dunkirk High School, received a bachelor's degree in psychology at SUNY Fredonia, and master's degrees in student personnel administration at Buffalo State College and counselor education at St. Bonaventure University. She is employed as the assistant director of financial aid at SUNY Fredonia.
A graduate of Fredonia High School Class of 2000, Mackowiak earned his associate's degree in business administration at Jamestown Community College and is completing his B.S. degree in public accountancy at SUNY Fredonia. He is a staff accountant at Johnson, Mackowiak and Associates, LLC.
