Thomas and Deborah Rozumalski of Dunkirk announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie, to Jason Cieslewicz, son of Donald and Stacey Cieslewicz of Dunkirk. Katie is the granddaughter of Alberta and the late Donald "Potsy" Rozumalski and Richard and Patricia Frey, all of Dunkirk. Her fiance is the grandson of the late Felix and Stella Cieslewicz of Dunkirk and Maria and the late Joseph Kapuscinski of Pysznica, Poland.
The bride-to-be graduated in 2002 from Dunkirk High School and 2006 from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a dual degree in special education and elementary education. She furthered her education, graduating in 2010 from SUNY Fredonia with a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. She is currently a first- and second-grade special education teacher at Clinton V. Bush Elementary School in Jamestown and is a Zumba fitness instructor at Zumba Rocks! in Dunkirk.
The prospective groom graduated in 1997 from Dunkirk High School. He furthered his education at Jamestown Community College, earning an associate's degree in business administration. He is currently a municipal worker with the Dunkirk Streets Department.
