Jessica Sue Gizowski and Bob Papadakis were united in marriage on June 18, 2011, at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church in Mayville. Father Todd Remick performed the double-ring ceremony at 2 p.m.
The bride is the daughter of Alex and Carol Gizowski of Forestville. The groom is the son of Gus and Karin Papadakis of Binghamton.
Wedding soloist and organist was Molly Vine of Bemus Point. Mary and Natalie Pietro, cousins of the bride, recited readings during the ceremony. Margaret Borowczyk and Ann Gizowski, grandmothers of the bride, offered the communion gifts.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless silky taffeta gown with a sweetheart neckline and a cathedral train, and a two-tiered fingertip-length veil and a silver tiara. She carried a bouquet of white roses, purple freesias and white stephanotis.
Serving as matron of honor was Rebecca Uhlendorff of Frederick, Md., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Amy Kirst of Buffalo, friend of the bride, and Syrmo Napolitano of Thompson Ridge, N.Y., sister of the groom. All girls wore wisteria strapless satin gowns and carried bouquets of purple freesias and pink and white roses.
The best man was Bryce Currier of Dover, N.H., friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Alex Gizowski Jr. of Forestville, brother of the bride, and Steven Napolitano of Thompson Ridge, brother-in-law of the groom. The ring bearer was Ryder Uhlendorff of Frederick, Md., nephew of the bride, accompanied by the bride's brother-in-law, Ryan Uhlendorff, also of Frederick.
A reception was held at Webb's Captain's Table Restaurant in Mayville.
The bride is a graduate of Forestville High School and SUNY Fredonia, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She graduated from SUNY Buffalo with a master's degree in social work. She is a medical social worker at the Erie County Medical Center.
The groom is a graduate of Pine Bush High School and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science. He is a software developer at Frontier Science in Amherst.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Greece. They reside in Williamsville.
