Mr. and Mrs. James DeGolyer Jr. of Fredonia announce the engagement of their daughter, Jillian Nicole, to Ellis Alexander Page, both of Wilmington, N.C. Page is the son of Richmond Page and Dencie Lambdin, and stepson of Cheryl Page and Jef Lambdin, all of Lumberton, N.C.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Fredonia High School and 2005 graduate of the State University of Buffalo where she earned a BS degree in business administration and marketing. She is employed at Brasserie du Soleil in Wilmington.
The groom-elect is a 1996 graduate of Flora McDonald Academy in Red Springs, N.C., and a 2001 graduate from the University of North Carolina at Ashville where he earned a BS degree in environmental science with a concentration in natural resource management and a minor in economics. He is employed with Verizon Wireless in Wilmington.
