Melissa Ann Fabritius and Nicholas Timothy VerHague of Winston Salem, N.C., announce their engagement. Fabritius is the daughter of Joseph and Pamela Fabritius of Fredonia. VerHague is the son of Dana and Gale VerHague of Forestville.
The bride-to-be is completing her Ph.D. in molecular pathology at Wake Forest University. Her fiance is completing his bachelor's degree at Winston Salem State University in North Carolina.
A July 2012 wedding will be held in Buffalo.
