Juliana Strode of Harwich, Mass., and Byron Sass of Byron, N.Y., were united in marriage on June 3, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Cape Cod Bible Alliance Church in Brewster, Mass. The traditional ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Myron Heckmam, with the Futura String Quartet providing wedding music.
The couple is formerly of Fredonia. The bride is the daughter of Lindsay and Meg Strode of Harwich. The groom is the son of Andrew and Lori Sass of Byron.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a white lace dress and carried a bouquet of lilacs. Her matron of honor was Lindsay Fonstrom of Orleans, Mass. Bridesmaids included Kailey Strode, sister of the bride, and Kara Sass, sister of the groom.

The best man was Michael McGinnis of Brockport, friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Zachary Swan of Churchville, N.Y., friend of the groom; Christian Strode of Harwich, brother of the bride; and Tyler Sass of Byron, brother of the groom.
A reception was held at The Old Sea Pines Inn in Brewster.
The bride graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester and is employed in Cape Cod as a registered nurse.
The groom graduated from Fredonia High School, Roberts Wesleyan College and is employed at an investment firm in Boston, Mass. He was the pastor at Harvest Chapel in Fredonia.
The couple honeymooned on Nantucket. They currently reside in Quincy, Mass.
