"Around the World in 90 Minutes," a multimedia show by author Marty Essen, will be held at Jamestown Community College's North County Center in Dunkirk at 7 p.m. on Sept. 26.
The presentation, sponsored by JCC's campus life program, is free and open to the public and will be held in room 119 of the North County Training Center building.
Essen, author of "Cool Creatures, Hot Planet: Exploring the Seven Continents," features interesting facts, humorous stories, and the best of thousands of images in his show. Adventures and wildlife encounters on the seven continents and Central America are depicted. Essen discusses endangered species, scientific discoveries, and environmental protection throughout the program.
Essen has won multiple awards for travel and essay writing, including the Benjamin Franklin Award, Best Books Book Award, and the National Indie Excellence Award.
