October 9, 2011
The OBSERVER

An Eagle Rank Court of Honor ceremony was held Sunday, Sept. 25, at the Fredonia American Legion Post 59, to honor Troop 267 Scout Sean Pecuch.

Scout Master Chris Eichmann welcomed more than 120 guests and introduced the program's emcee, Paul Wallenhorst, who also serves as committee chairperson for the troop. The Eagle Obligation was given by Scout Master Eichmann, while Chris Anderson delivered the Eagle Charge for Sean. Keynote speaker Matt Anderson gave information on Sean's character, work ethic, church, and community involvement before presenting him with his Eagle pin. Special recognition pins were presented to Sean's parents, Robert and Patricia Pecuch, during the ceremony.

State Assemblyman Andrew Goodell spoke on behalf of Sean's accomplishments and presented him with a special certificate. Sean thanked the many scouts, leaders, friends and family members who helped him attain the honor of Eagle Scout. A dinner, courtesy of the American Legion Post 59, followed the Court of Honor ceremony.
