Silver Creek knights outstanding students

SILVER CREEK - Silver Creek High School announces its September Knights of the Month. The first Knight of the Month is Harley Seibert, age 18. Seibert is a senior and the daughter of Shari and Robert Seibert of Silver Creek. She participates in Foreign Language Club, GSA and works part-time outside of school. Seibert's other interests are ceramics, drawing, reading and hanging out with her friends. After graduation, she will attend college to major in business and ceramics.

The second Knight of the Month is James Gardner, age 15. James is a sophomore and the son of James Gardner Sr. He participates in JV Football, Varsity Lacrosse, JV Basketball, Intermediate Box Lacrosse, GSA, Foreign Language Club and Senior Chorus. His other interests include music, playing guitar, writing songs and poetry, helping others, reading and crossword puzzles. After graduation, James plans on attending college to major in music composition and minoring in either Spanish, math, English or history.

The Knight of the Month is a student who is nominated by a member of the Silver Creek High School faculty based on many qualities, such as dedication, extracurricular involvement, leadership and behavioral and academic performance.
