Mr. and Mrs. Carter Hatcher

Erin Marie Orlando and Carter Lane Hatcher were united in marriage on July 3, 2011. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Honorable Amy Hontz.

A quartet which included Monica Buck, Deanna Civilette, Kelsey Ruffino, and Shane Murphy of Fredonia performed at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Mary Ann Orlando of Fredonia. The groom is the son of Florence Hatcher Record and Bud Record and the late Lane Hatcher of Ellijay, Ga.

The bride was escorted by her father Robert S. Orlando. She wore an ivory, embroidered lace with duches silk satin, V-neck with dimensional appliques. The carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, shades of yellow daisies, carnations, gerberas and roses.

The matron of honor was Shelby Orlando-Schiess of Midlothian, Va., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Jillian Page of Wilmington, N.C., Nicole Pacos of Pinehurst, N.C., and Christina Hooton of Atlanta, Ga., all friends of the bride; Jinger Hatcher of Deltona, Fla. and Stephanie Bennett of Lilburn, Ga., sisters of the groom.

The brides's attendants wore royal blue, strapless, chiffon dresses with sweetheart necklines. They carried bouquets of white hydrangeas, shades of yellow carnations and daisies, and green hypericums.

The best man was David Neumann, of Smryna, Ga., friend of the groom. Ushers included Thomas Anderson, of Atlanta, Ga., Alvin Choi, of Zurich, Switzerland, Dustin Biddle of Smyrna, Ga., all friends of the groom; Edward Walker, of Woodstock, Ga; uncle of the groom and Brian Bennett, of Lilburn, Ga. brother-in-law of the groom. The ring bearer was Robert Michael Schiess of Midlothian, Va., nephew of the bride.

The wedding reception was held at Shorewood Country Club.

The bride graduated from Fredonia High School and Buffalo State College. She received her master's degree from Walden University. She is employed as an ESOL teacher for Fulton County Schools.

The groom graduated from Holy Innocents' Episcopal School and Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga. He is employed as an account executive for Verion Business in Atlanta.

The couple resides in their new home in Marietta, Ga.
