The OBSERVER

In an outdoor double-ring ceremony on Saturday, June 4, 2011, Charlotte White and Daniel Werner, both of Dunkirk, joined their lives together in matrimony.

The ceremony took place at the home of wedding planner Kathy Restivo of Silver Creek. The Hon. Jack Kohler performed the ceremony in an outdoor gazebo under bright sunshine with a gentle breeze amid a serene backdrop of hundreds of acres of grape vineyards in full green leaf.

Her brother Roy White escorted the bride, who was attended by Amanda Bolinger as her maid of honor, and Andrea Nalepa and Catherine Kopp as bridesmaids, all wearing watermelon-colored gowns. Best man was John Randall of Perrysburg, with Doug Jordan and Anthony Corcoran serving as groomsmen.

Daniel's niece Ava Turk served as flower girl and was attired in a white summer dress. Jayden Waller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Waller of Dunkirk, served as the ring bearer.

A catered reception followed the ceremony with a full buffet meal and was attended by more than 130 guests, including Dan and Charlotte's relatives and many friends and co-workers.

The wedding party was also treated to a limousine ride to the grounds of the Saint Columban's retirement community for photographs, and cameras were provided at every table for guests to take pictures throughout the reception.

After eating their wedding cake, tables were moved aside and many of the guests enjoyed dancing to a variety of music selections including oldies, romantic country and soft rock befitting the ceremony.
