Miss Abigail Elizabeth Ginther of Carmel, Ind., and Captain Christopher J. Kittle of Westfield were united in marriage on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, at 4:30 p.m. The ceremony was held at Savannah Rapids Pavilion, Evans to Locks Road, in Martinez, Ga.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Jeffery (Elizabeth) Ginther of Carmel. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs Gerald (Barbara) Kittle of Westfield.
The bride was escorted by her father. Serving as matron of honor was Kimberly Wilkinson, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids included Danielle Cournia, sister of the bride; Miss Valerie Ginther, sister of the bride; and friends Audra Lembke, friends Elizabeth Griffin and Lacey Stier.

Serving as best man was Jay Burnett, friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Cadet Jeffery Ginther, brother of the bride; Captain Nikolaus Sifers, friend of the bride and groom; and Gerald Kittle, father of the groom.
A reception was held at Savannah Rapids Pavilion.
The bride earned her undergraduate degree at Purdue University and her graduate degree at Butler University. She is an emergency room assistant in Augusta, Ga.
The groom earned his undergraduate degree at St. Lawrence University, Canton, N.Y. He is a captain in the U.S. Army, currently stationed at Fort Gordon, Augusta.
