Mayor-elect Dolce seeking applicants

Mayor-elect A.J. Dolce announced Monday that he continues to seek persons interested in being considered for positions within his administration.

"I am very interested in hearing from anyone who wishes to be involved with my Administration and look forward to receiving letters of interest, from the public," Dolce announced.

Anyone interested in submitting their resume may do so by mailing A.J. Dolce, c/o P.O. Box 205, Dunkirk, New York 14048, prior to Dec. 13.

Positions include Public Works Director, Fiscal Affairs Officer, City Attorney, Director of Planning and Development and City Clerk.

Dolce is also seeking letters of interest from individuals willing to serve on any boards or commissions within the city.

While currently reviewing resumes, Dolce contends that, "opening up the hiring process allows me the ability to appoint the most qualified and capable people to these crucial positions. This is the start of my pledge to maintain openness in the decision-making process."
