Paul and Sharon Salzman celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 14. They were married in 1961 at Forestville Baptist Church by the Rev. John Nomes.
Paul is the son of Gerald and Trudy (Erb) Salzman, and Sharon is the daughter of Marvin and June (Rodgers) Hiller. Paul is retired from the Western New York DDSO, employed for 35 years, and currently drives part-time for CARTS. Sharon is a housewife.
The couple have four children: Scott (Vicky) Salzman of South Dayton; Mike (Shelly) Meadows of Zebulon, N.C.; Kevin (Jamie) Salzman of Perrysburg; and Aaron (Kelly) Salzman of Zebulon, N.C. They have 11 grandchildren: Shenai Salzman, Michael Salzman, Arielle Salzman, Philip Salzman, Keith Meadows, Kennan Meadows, Dakota Baker, Kasie Salzman, Alex Salzman, Lucas Salzman and Mason Salzman. They also have five great-grandchildren; Savayah, Trinity, Cole, and Autumn Salzman and Brielle Meadows.
