A total of 577 shoeboxes were collected by Christ Community Church in Fredonia as part of Operation Christmas Child. Churches, organizations and individuals in the community packed shoeboxes full of toys, school supplies, hard candy, toiletries and other items. The shoeboxes will eventually be shipped to needy children around the world. Christ Community Church, using a vehicle donated by Pucci's Carpet, transported the boxes to Sinclairville United Methodist Church. From there, the boxes are brought to North Carolina, before going overseas. Pictured are volunteers Elizabeth Geiger, Jonathan Geiger, Joanna Connolly and Kyle Scudder.
