Editor, OBSERVER:
I am writing to thank the OBSERVER for its coverage of our Christmas Festival (including the Nativity display and Alternative Market) in early December.
The front page article with photo helped get the word out about our event. As a result, it was a wonderful success. Due to the generosity of members of the community and our church members over $2,250 was raised for local service organizations including Rural Ministry and for agencies that provide help to people of the U.S. and beyond. Not a penny of this money will stay in the church.
It will all go to those in need and will make a huge difference to so many in these challenging times. Thank you for your coverage that made this event the success it was.
