SILVER CREEK - Silver Creek High School announces November's Knight of the Month. The first Knight of the Month is Shelby Braidich, age 14. Shelby is a freshman and the daughter of Brett Braidich and Cindy Hanlin of Silver Creek. She participates in the Big Buddy program at school. Shelby's other interests are drawing and hanging out with her friends. After graduation, she would like to attend college.
The second Knight of the Month is Devlin Dillon, age 15. Devlin is a sophomore and the son of Jennifer and James Dillon of Silver Creek. Devlin participates on the Varisty track team and also is a member of the senior high band and chorus. Devlin's other interests include lifting weights, bike riding and working with computers. After graduation, Devlin plans on attending a four-year college to major in computer programming.
The Knight of the Month is a student who is nominated by a member of the Silver Creek High School faculty based on many qualities, such as dedication, extracurricular involvement, leadership and behavioral and academic performance.
