Editor, OBSERVER:
A writer to one of the county newspapers recently stated that rifle hunting is safer than golfing. This may be true, but a golfer has never shot and killed my dog while she stood in our back yard.
These rifle-happy lead-junkies should stick to their day jobs and quit playing home-on-the-range. It's only cute until someone gets hurt.
