Editor, OBSERVER:
I don't know where to start with this letter. This is about animal cruelty. Recently, on Facebook, there have been a lot of horrifying pictures of animal cruelty.
One article was a person beating their dog with a hammer. There was a picture of two teenagers - one was holding up a puppy by his neck on a rope and the other one with a smirk with one finger in the air.
The one that really made me sick and cry was some one put firecrackers in a German shepherd's mouth and blew off his whole snout, and the dog was still alive, this was a horrible sight.
I think it's time to get stricter laws on this matter of cruelty, not a slap on the hand! I urge people to write their representatives for stricter laws on this.
