Medicor Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Robert E. Fisher as the new chief operating officer for the Southern Tier offices of the organization.
Fisher joined Medicor with extensive experience in hospital administration. He spent the past two years working at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, N.Y. as the chief financial officer and previously held the same position in Chicago, Ill., at Regent Surgical Health.
The majority of Fisher's career was spent in Bradford, Pa., where he served as the senior vice president and chief financial officer for Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Fisher earned a bachelor of science degree from Bloomsburg University of PA and his MBA in health care administration from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
As COO, Fisher will be responsible for all aspects of clinical and business operations for all of the Southern Tier medical offices affiliated with Medicor.
He will also oversee strategic development and business planning for these practices.
Fisher currently resides in North East, Pa., with his wife, Jill.
