Dozens of SUNY Fredonia custodial staff filled the Dods Hall Multipurpose Room to celebrate a year's worth of excellent service and receive congratulations from numerous campus administrators.
Specific accolades at the 11th annual Custodian Awards luncheon were shared by President Dennis Hefner, Interim Vice President for Administration Karen Porpiglia, Vice President for Student Affairs David Herman, and Environmental Health and Safety Director Anne Podolak.
"Our campus is truly among the jewels of the SUNY System, and every one of you is an important reason why we've gained that reputation," President Hefner said. "Our campus always looks beautiful, and that makes such a difference to everyone who works and visits our campus."
