The children and grandchildren of Terry and Donna Crowell hosted a gathering of family and friends at Zollinger's South Dayton Hotel honoring the couple's 40th wedding anniversary. They were married on Nov. 6, 1971 at the South Dayton Methodist Church. Roberta (Tadt) Raiport was matron of honor and Dick Latshaw was the best man. Bridemaids were Barbara (Crowell) Marowski, Brenda (Crowell) West and Susan (Burek) Sysol. Groomsman was Charlie Johnson.
Donna retired from the New York State Department of Corrections as a correction counselor and Terry retired from the New York State Department of Transportation as a highway maintenance worker. They have a daughter, Michelle Crowell, a son, Eric (Julie) Crowell, and two grandsons, Cameron and Colin Crowell, all of Fredonia.
