Roger and Vanessa Volk of Fredonia announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Ann Brooks Volk, to Aaron Todd Smith, son of Ernest and Anita Smith, also of Fredonia. The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Fredonia High School, and a 2005 graduate of Bluffton University in Bluffton, Ohio. She is employed as a teacher at Fredonia Child Development. Her fiance is a 2001 graduate of Fredonia High School and is employed by the WCA Home. A June wedding is planned.
