Our Lady of Fatima Society

The Our Lady of Fatima Society of Blessed Mary Angela Parish met in the lyceum with Co-presidents Sue Nickle and Linda Kuzara presiding.

The secretary's report was given by Bonnie Kawski and the treasurer's report by Linda Stolinski.

The new officers were welcomed. The new slate of officers is: Co-presidents Nickle and Kuzara; Linda Curtin, vice president; Bonnie Kawski, recording secretary; Stolinski, treasurer. Dorothy Buffa was recognized as committee organizer.

Joan Gula explained to the membership what the pastoral society of the church was and its purpose in the parish.

Fr. Matt Nycz told the members about the teens of the parish going to the religious youth convention at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Buffalo. About 18 young people will attend. The society voted for a donation to the children and also a donation to Catholic Charities.

Members were reminded that Fatima prayers will be said after the 4 p.m. Mass on Saturday, March 3.

Refreshments were served from a table centered with a statue of Blessed Mary and Valentine's Day favors.

Committee was Gula, Peggy Pokoj and Debby Waclawski.

The committee for the March 13 meeting will be Pauline Newman, Kuzara and Buffa.
