Laura Strawser and James Blasdell of Forestville announce their engagement. Strawser is the daughter of James and Kathy Strawser of Sheridan. Blasdell is the son of Steve and Vicki Blasdell of South Dayton.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Fredonia High School and Jamestown Community College. She is a teacher at Lake Shore Family Center.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Forestville High School and is a carpenter at Gypsum Systems.
