JAMESTOWN - R&B group Boyz II Men has topped pop charts, sold 60 million albums and booked a show in Jamestown.
The four-time Grammy award winners will perform at Jamestown Savings Bank Arena on Friday, June 8. Tickets, which start at $39.50, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 23.
Fresh off last month's Brian McKnight concert, the arena will now host a group that has topped the Billboard charts on multiple occasions.

"We are really excited about this show," said Kurt Silcott, the arena's chief executive officer. "I think everyone has a favorite memory that includes a Boyz II Men song."
In 1992, Boyz II Men hit No. 1 for the first time on the Hot 100 Pop Chart with "End of the Road." The group's other No. 1 hits include "I'll Make Love to You" and "One Sweet Day" with Mariah Carey, which holds the record for most consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the chart at 16.
"Personally I'm excited because in all my years in this business, I've never seen these guys live," Silcott said. "I'm really looking forward to it, and I hope the people of this community are as excited about a premier national act playing in our backyard as I am."
The group has sold more albums worldwide than any other R&B act. It has released 11 albums, including "Twenty," which came out last year. Boyz II Men most recently received Grammy nominations in 2009. The group collaborated with Justin Bieber on his movie "Never Say Never" and on his Christmas album "Under the Mistletoe."
When tickets go on sale later this month, Silcott expects a big response from the regional community.
"I think that this show will draw people from all over Western New York and Pennsylvania to the area to see this legendary group perform," he said. "Acts like this give our community a chance to shine, and we know the hotels, restaurants, bars and other businesses in the area will step up to the plate as usual. Since this is a Friday night show, I anticipate a good deal of overnight visitors to the area, which will drive revenue into our community."
To purchase tickets, visit the arena box office, located at 319 W. Third St., Jamestown, call 484-2624 or go to jamestownarena.com.
