Editor, OBSERVER:
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported the recent bridal show at the White Inn, from the organizers, to the vendors, and each participant.
Your thoughtful support and remembrance for pancreatic cancer research in memory of Jane Mawhir Wright was touching. Anyone who knew Jane knew her devotion to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ , her family, grandchildren, and friends.
She was gracious in her life and committed to her marriage. We both would want everyone to know our firm belief in the Biblical plan for the marriage to be between one man and one woman as outlined in Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6, and Ephesians 5:31. This is in contrast to the article in the OBSERVER that stated the wedding show for all sexual orientations.
I do not say this to belittle, judge anyone or lift ourselves up. Anyone who knows us knows we are not perfect, just examples of God's grace.
My faith that has sustained me through this past year could not stay silent and I wanted to thank everyone involved from the bottom of my heart for remembering my beloved wife.
