BROCTON - The Brocton Teachers' Association is proud to announce their selections for Student of the Month for February, 2012.
The middle school honoree is eighth grader Robert Gugino, son of Todd and Lisa Gugino of Portland. Robert is involved in the Ski Club, Football and Baseball programs at school. Outside of school he enjoys snowboarding and sports. His favorite subject is math and future plans include a career in the military.
The high school honoree is senior Fabian Hernandez, Jr., son of Fabian Hernandez, Sr., and Hilaria Rojas of Brocton. Fabian is a year round soccer player, playing inside in the winter and outside when the weather cooperates. He can also be found in the weight room at school when it is open. In the fall, Fabian plans to attend college at Oneonta majoring in criminal justice. His favorite subject is physics.
