Time Warner services outage affects region

All services offered by Time Warner Cable were affected Tuesday night across the region due to a severed fiber-optic line, according to a spokesperson.

At some time in the early evening, a fiber-optic cable was severed in the Town of Eden. All services were affected, including telephone, internet and cable television in the towns of Dunkirk, Fredonia, Silver Creek, Angola, Hamburg and others.

There was no reported estimate for service restoration at the time of publishing.
